Dr Nick Baveas
Nick is the principal dentist at Redbank Dental Centre. He graduated from the University of Queensland and is now in the midst of a Masters degree in implant dentistry.
Nick enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but is particularly passionate about dental implants. Nick loves the satisfaction his patients get from this type of comprehensive treatment. He has a strong belief in making dentistry as comfortable as possible and has developed some novel techniques that are used within the practice to help achieve this.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys fishing and spending time with his family, in particular his young son, Harry
Dr Ranjit Sangha
Dr. Ranjit Sangha has been part of the practice since 2008. She has been in private practice since 2006 and has a gentle but thorough approach to ensure her patients maintain perfect oral health.
Ranjit is a firm believer in preventative and conservative dentistry and finds providing the highest quality of care to her patients, particularly those who are anxious about dental treatment, especially important and rewarding.
Dr Sangha enhances her knowledge through continuing education, and has a special interest in the field of orthodontics. She is currently undertaking a two year intensive orthodontic training program to allow her to better provide her patients with options for improving the appearance of their smile.
Ranjit was schooled at All Hallows prior to commencing her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland.
Outside of dentistry, Ranjit enjoys touch football, karate and spending time with family and friends.
Dr William Huynh
Will was born and raised in Brisbane and is a graduate of the University of Queensland. He was practicing in Toowoomba for several years before joining Redbank Dental Centre in 2011.
Will is dedicated to providing quality care to his patients, whilst always holding their comfort and peace of mind in the highest regard. He continues to advance his knowledge through regularly attending continuing professional development courses.
Will enjoys many of the simple things in life like cooking and spending time with his beloved dog, family and friends. He is a sports fan and has a love for photography and the great outdoors.
Dr Nazir Mahomed
Nazir has been in general dental practice for 31 years both overseas and in Brisbane, including 3½ years at the Logan Hospital, after obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Birmingham, England, in 1980.
He has been involved in Dental Association affairs for 15 years and has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry.
Nazir has a special interest in minimal intervention and preventative dentistry, periodontal and gum health and how this affects general health holistically, crown and bridgework and root canal treatments. He has kept up to date with the latest materials and techniques and regularly attends seminars and further education courses. Nazir also has a special interest in dental sleep medicine and is able to offer the SnorePro device for the treatment of snoring.
Nazir’s other interests are in fishing and playing squash and soccer. He has been a fanatical supporter of Arsenal Football Club since age 8! He maintains a keen interest in a variety of sports, having played club cricket, hockey, volleyball, badminton, tabletennis and squash in the past. He is an avid reader and enjoys movies.
Dr Manfred Lagemann
Although born on the Gold Coast, Manfred grew up in Brisbane and is a graduate of Brisbane Grammar School and the University of Queensland where he completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours. Following graduation Manfred joined the Redbank Dental Team in 2011. Manfred is particularly interested in wisdom teeth extractions but he has a great interest in many aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing high quality dental care. To stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, he regularly attends seminars and post-graduate courses.
Outside work, Manfred enjoys water-sports, keeping up to date with the latest movies and tv shows and catching up with his friends and family.
Dr Sophia Do
Sophia was born and raised in Brisbane and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Queensland.
Sophia has a gentle and conservative approach to dental treatment. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in aesthetic restorations. Sophia believes in working closely with patients to personalise treatment goals and provide a quality dental service. She appreciates the importance of involving patients in their own dental outcomes and welcomes any questions or concerns you may have.
In her spare time, Sophia enjoys music, art, and spending time with friends and family.
Irina Briden
Irina Briden was born in Romania. She studied Dental Hygiene at the University of Bristol in UK. Irina is very passionate about her job as a hygienist, and believes prevention is better than cure. In her spare time Irina enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends and sight seeing.
Alyssa Vu
Alyssa graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland.
Alyssa enjoys all aspects of oral health with particular interest in dental therapy for children. Working in conjunction with dentists, Alyssa works hard to tailor treatment plans specific to the needs of each patient. As a primary health care professional, Alyssa uses preventive, educational and therapeutic methods to control oral health related diseases. Alyssa also prides herself on her professionalism, friendliness and caring nature towards her patients.
In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys music, cooking, and spending time with friends.
